Default [ Which Is Better For Vanquish ]

I am an ele, and want to do HM now that I have done most all of GW.

I am trying to decided on 2 options for my nec heroes. Shall I use Sabway or Discordway? I know I cannot survive on my own so I am thinking one of those.

Which would I more benefit from using with heroes ?

Try both.

You have your own play style and it would be hard for us to answer without knowing how you play.

Don't be afraid to try both, and don't be afraid to mess with the stock builds to figure out what works for you. Some of the fun of this game is figuring stuff out. :P

use neither
cookie cutter crap builds like this are why people don't play for long
make up your own builds and use them for your heros
not one build i use is available on pvx wiki
the game is more fun that way

Okay, i'll take your advice, I have been playing sence 07, and havent lost intrest at all. Tried DDO, WoW, and ROM, and always come back too GW. Seems to me no one like PvX build, and I can understand why. I believe same as you, come up with your own style of builds.

I did try that, however I found myself dying alot and getting wiped. So I turned ro PvX.

I'd look into the spirit build arkantos/fenix created

I run a FD mesmer with the one-man variant, a healer hench, and the others physical or ranged dps. I haven't had too many troubles yet, but I've only vanqed about half of factions so far.

A better question is why is this in farming?

Isn't vanquish farmming considered farmming? Or am I mistaken?

Discord is better than Sab in most cases. Another gimmiky build to try is ArkFenWay.

Usually the best way to vanquish or beat missions is come set up to do them. The area's with numerous high hitting elementalists or bosses that can bring your whole party's health under 75% with one spell. In these areas it pays to bring a mesmer or ranger. If an area has lots of hexes, you will need to bring hex removal, something D-way and Sabway have very little of.

I would like to bring a little of everything actually. Some hex removal, mesmers, rangers etc.

Vanquish farming? I'm assuming that means finding optimal hero builds in order to vanquish things quickly. I'd classify that as a Hero/AI issue rather than farming, since you aren't actually farming anything at all. Moving it now.

Well there's no point in bringing hex removal in an area where there are no hexes/the only hexes are rubbish. You should not try and make a "Does everything build" but rather take a look at the Wiki page for the area, identify what will cause you problems (e.g. Many hexes) and what you can take advantage of (e.g. low AL vs fire damage), then change your build depending on them.

If u want to vanq with efficiency, i suggest discords. Some areas hav some hvy hex removal so instead of caller build u may consider having a build that can provide a quick hex (asuran scan), but although ele already has a lot of good backup hexes u can use.

If u looking to run something besides discord and something really fun, look into ether renewal e/mo builds. Pretty much a fun team support build, either providing endless heals/prot or boosting dmg of ur team with enchmnts.
